OxygenOS 12 A.10, A.18 Software Update Brings October 2022 Android Security Patch And Jio 5G Support For OnePlus 10T, OnePlus 10 Pro

OnePlus has started rolling out a new software update for the OnePlus 10T and the OnePlus 10 Pro in India. The company has started seeding the OxygenOS 12 A.10 for the OnePlus 10T and OxygenOS 12 A.18 update for the OnePlus 10 Pro. The new software update brings in the latest October 2022 Android Security patch and support for Jio 5G for both handsets.

As per the details shared by OnePlus, support for Jio 5G is included in the new software update. However, it is not available for the time being. The adoption of Jio 5G will start from the coming Monday i.e. October 24. Users who are using Jio will get 5G support on their unit after October 24.

OxygenOS A.10 Software Update Released For OnePlus 10T

The new release optimizes the performance scheduling and improves system fluency on the OnePlus 10T. Additionally, the update fixes occasional crash issues and brings in the October 2022 security patch for both the OnePlus 10T and the OnePlus 10 Pro. The OxygenOS A.10 update also optimizes Wi-Fi stability and improves network experience. Here’s the complete changelog of the new software release:

Do note that this is an incremental update pushed by OnePlus for the OnePlus 10T and the OnePlus 10 Pro. The OTA update will first reach a small percentage of users. The broader rollout of the update will happen in the coming days, once OnePlus makes sure that this build doesn’t contain any critical bugs. As mentioned by OnePlus, this new software update is only available for users in India. The company will release this new software update for other regions in the coming few days.
