Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Siege is coming to mobile as Rainbow Six Mobile. It will be available as a free-to-play game for both Android and iOS devices.
The company shared that it has been working on Rainbow Six Mobile for over three years. The game will be a competitive, tactical FPS, similar to Rainbow Six Siege. Gameplay has been built from the ground up for the mobile version. It will have two teams with five members each—Attackers and Defenders.

Bank allows players to invade a secure bank inside a city. On the other hand, Border brings players to a border outpost that is enclosed by mountains and surrounded by open areas. A different version of these maps are available in Rainbow Six Siege.
The game publisher claims that although action is optimized for mobile, the gameplay isn’t overly simplified. Players will still be able to barge through destructible walls, customize weapons, and utilize their unique gadgets.

Ubisoft Creative Director Justin Swan says that gamers can get the latest updates for the game by signing up for upcoming tests at rainbowsixmobile.com. Rainbow Six Mobile will be available in an upcoming closed alpha, which will be the “first of many live tests”.
Users with existing Rainbow accounts can use their shared Ubisoft Connect account to connect across both games— Rainbow Six Mobile and Rainbow Six Siege. However, you will not be able to share economies as the former game is free and the latter isn’t. So, don’t expect R6 Credits sharing between both the games.
Ubisoft has not revealed the release date of Rainbow Six Mobile yet.
