Razer, a popular gaming components manufacturer, often collaborates with different manufacturers to diversify their business. Now, it has collaborated with a well-known watch company, Fossil, to produce a Razer limited edition of the Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch. It carries Razer’s famous tri-headed snake logo and comes with a bright green wristband. It comes with customisable straps, watch faces, Razer’s famed Chroma RGB lighting effects, and much more to lure gamers.
Razer x Fossil Gen 6 Watch Features, Specifications
The Razer x Fossil smartwatch is basically a Fossil Gen 6 underneath, albeit with a slightly tweaked design. This will be a limited edition watch as the company will produce only 1,337 units of it worldwide. It sports a 1.28-inch AMOLED Display with 326 PPI (Pixels Per Inch). The watch gets three Razer watch faces—Analog, Team Razer text, and Chroma and also comes with four customisable Razer Chroma RGB effects, inspired by Razer’s other RGB-clad components. The smartwatch comes in a 44mm dial size and gets a 22mm watch strap that comes in two custom designs. Both straps are made of silicone and are emblazoned with Razer’s logo.
The Razer x Fossil smartwatch is powered by a Snapdragon 4100+, which promises up to 30 percent faster app loading and higher battery efficiency when compared to the previous generation Fossil Gen 5. It is equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The watch runs on Wear OS 2, which will probably get a Wear OS 3 update this year.
