Realme has started rolling out the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 software update for the Realme Narzo 50 and the Realme 7 smartphones. The Chinese smartphone maker took to its community forum to confirm the release of the Realme UI 3.0 software update for these two devices.
Before you update your Realme 7, make sure that it is running one of the following firmware versions: RMX2151NV1B_11.C.17/ RMX2151NV1B_11.C.18 / RMX2151NV1B_11.C.17. Also, to install the Android 12 update on the Realme Narzo 50, users need their device to be updated to firmware version RMX3286_11_A.57 / RMX3286_11_A.58 / RMX3286_11_A.59.
Realme 7, Realme Narzo 50 Android 12 Update Features
When it comes to the changes, the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 software update contains an all-new design, revamped page layouts, redesigned icons, optimization to quantum animation engine 3.0, and much more. The update also includes a new feature called Quick launch that detect the apps you use frequently and pre-loads them so you can open them quickly. Furthermore, the update also optimizes the auto brightness algorithm, accessibility, and categorization of functions. Here’s the changelog of the new software update below:
Realme 7 Realme UI 3.0 Software Update Changelog (RMX2151_11.C.08)
[New design]
• The all-new design, which emphasizes a sense of space, deliver a simple, clean, and comfortable visual and interactive experience.
• Revamps the page layout based on the principle of reducing visual noise and spacing out elements, and prioritizes information with different colors to make key information stand out.
• Redesigns icons using new materials to give more depth and a greater sense of space and texture to the icons.
• Optimizes Quantum Animation Engine: Quantum Animation Engine 3.0 implements the concept of mass to make animations more lifelike, and optimizes more than 300 animations to bring a more natural user experience.
[Convenience & efficiency]
• FlexDrop is renamed Flexible Windows and is optimized:
– Optimizes the method of switching floating windows between different sizes.
– You can now drag a file from My Files or a photo from the Photos app to a floating window.
[Performance]
• Adds Quick launch, a feature that detects the apps you use frequently and pre-loads them so you can open them quickly.
• Adds a chart to display your battery usage.
• Improves the responsiveness of turning on or off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Airplane mode.

• In team fight scenes, games run more smoothly at a stable frame rate.
• Reduces the CPU load average and lowers the battery usage.
[Camera]
• You can now drag the zoom slider to zoom in or out smoothly when shooting a video using the rear camera.

• Optimizes the auto brightness algorithm to adapt screen brightness to more scenes for a comfortable screen reading experience.

• Optimizes accessibility:

Do note that the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 software update for both the Realme 7 and the Realme Narzo 50 is rolling out in a staged manner. The update will be randomly pushed to a limited number of users initially. If no bugs are found in this new release, the company will roll out the update for all users in the coming few days.
