Realme is gearing up for the launch of its Realme 9 Pro series of smartphones. The Realme 9 Pro and the Realme 9 Pro+ are set to launch on February 16 in India, and in several other markets. Ahead of the launch, the brand has started teasing the camera capabilities of its Realme 9 Pro+, which will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS support. According to the brand, the Realme 9 Pro+ will take photos that are on par with the ones taken by the likes of highly-acclaimed camera-centric devices such as the Google Pixel 6, Xiaomi 12, and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Realme Confident About the Realme 9 Pro+ Camera
Ahead of the launch, Realme has set up a promo page where you can compare the camera performance of its Realme 9 Pro+ with the Google Pixel 6, the Xiaomi 12, and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Realme has also highlighted its self-developed image technology, dubbed the ProLight, which is claimed to produce clearer and purer nightscape images. Below are the comparison images (in night mode) for your reference:

It is worth noting that even though the image comparison appears to be quite enticing for someone who wants to buy a good camera smartphone in a budget, we’d have to wait it out for a while and test the device in order to be able to give a verdict on the same. We hope that the camera is as good as advertised, but cannot be sure of the same without having the device in our hands.
