Realme has finally unveiled the Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Limited Edition smartphone. The Realme 9 Pro Plus Free Fire Edition, as the name suggests, is inspired by the multiplayer battle royale game—Free Fire. Although it features the exact same hardware as that of the regular Realme 9 Pro+, what sets it apart is the Free Fire-inspired rear panel and branding.

The Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Edition comes in only one configuration—8GB + 256GB. It is priced at 11,999 Thai Baht which translates to about ₹27,297. As of now, it is available only in Thailand. However, we can expect it to launch in India in the coming weeks.

Realme 9 Pro Plus Free Fire Edition Design

The Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Edition comes with a different design compared to the regular variant of the Realme 9 Pro+. The word Booyah! is inscribed next to the camera module, which is a symbol of victory in the Free Fire game. Both sides of the back panel have a blue accent which is inspired by the knife in the game. The rear panel of the device features Realme as well as Free Fire branding.

The Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Edition retail box comes with several game-inspired goodies. These include avatar stickers, vehicle stickers, Free Fire stickers, and Realme stickers.

As mentioned earlier, the Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Edition features exactly the same hardware under the hood as that of the regular edition. This means that you get a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Powering the device is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It boots Realme UI 3.0, based on Android 12.

The Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Edition offers a triple-rear camera setup including a 64MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, it relies on a 16MP front shooter. It is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery unit and 60W SuperDart fast charging support.
