Realme 9i with Snapdragon 680 and 5,000mAh Battery Launched: Price, Specifications

Realme has launched the Realme 9i handset at an event in Vietnam. The Realme 9i is the first handset to launch under the Realme 9 series. The Realme 9i comes with a 6.5-inch display and a 50MP camera setup. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and a 5,000mAh battery unit. The Realme 9i 6GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at 62,90,000 Vietnamese dong which translates to about ₹20,510. It is available in two colour variants—blue and black.

The Realme 9i flaunts a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ (2,412 × 1,080 pixel) resolution, and 401ppi pixel density. It has a 90Hz refresh rate panel that can go as high as 480nits in terms of brightness. The display also has a punch-hole notch on the top left corner which helps it achieve about 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.

The Realme 9i sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor that is built on a 6nm fabrication process. It comes coupled with Adreno 610 GPU, up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The company has also equipped the handset with up to 5GB of virtual RAM. The smartphone comes preloaded with the company’s proprietary Realme UI 2.0, based on Android 11.

The Realme 9i packs a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary sensor on the handset is a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. There is also a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP B&W lens on the device. For selfies and video calls, the Realme 9i gets a 16MP shooter with an f/2.1 aperture.

The Realme 9i is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit and 33W fast charging support. It also has a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, a stereo speaker setup, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM, 4G, 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. It measures 164.4 × 75.7 × 8.4mm and weighs 190grams.
