Last month, Realme rolled out the Android 13-based early access for the Realme GT 2. The Android 13-based early access program allowed several users to try out the latest version of Android on the GT 2 ahead of the stable rollout. Now, in a recent development, the brand has opened Android 13 beta applications for the Realme GT 2. If you wish to enroll for the same, here’s how you can apply:

If you are using the handset as your primary phone, we recommend you to wait for the Android 13 stable release for the Realme GT 2 5G. Before you apply for the Android 13 open beta program, make sure that your device has more than 5GB of internal storage and over 60% battery life. Also, take a backup of all your essential data before proceeding with the Android 13 open beta enrollment process.
To apply for the Realme GT 2 Android 13 open beta program, your unit needs to be running either of the following firmware versions: RMX3312_11.A.20 / RMX3312_11.A.21. Then, head over to Settings > Software Update section and click on the settings icon in the top right corner. Thereafter, select Trial Version, submit your details, and tap Apply Now.
If your application passes the review, you will receive the Android 13 update on your device. The application for enrollment is open from October 21, 2022. Realme states in its community forum that only limited seats will be available.
Now that the company has started Android 13 open beta program for the Realme GT 2, we can expect the Android 13 update to arrive in the coming few days.
