Realme GT 2 Master Explorer With 5,000mAh Battery, 100W GaN Charging Confirmed

Realme is all set to launch the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition smartphone in China on July 12, 2022. It will be the company’s first-ever device to come powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The brand has also confirmed that the smartphone will feature an LPDDR5X RAM. Besides, the design of the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition has been showcased ahead of the launch. Now, Realme has officially confirmed the phone’s battery capacity and charging specifications. Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Battery And Charging Details

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is now confirmed to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 100W fast charging. The details have been spotted on Realme’s Weibo account, which further reveals that the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will be the brand’s first phone to come with GaN (Gallium Nitride) charger.

The charger is said to reduce heat by up to 85 percent. It is reported to fully fuel up the device in mere 25 minutes. Lastly, the company has also confirmed that the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will feature a metal middle frame and will weigh 195 grams.

Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Specifications (Expected)

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is said to flaunt a 6.7-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device will reportedly be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The phone is expected to come in three storage variants with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.

In terms of software, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is said to boot Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. For photography, we can expect the device to offer a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will most likely feature a 16MP selfie snapper.
