Realme has finally unveiled the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition in China today. The new smartphone comes as a successor to the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition from last year. The smartphone features the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, LPDDR5X RAM, a 5,000mAh battery, and a 50MP primary sensor, among other features.

Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Pricing, Availability
The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition pricing starts at CNY 3,499 (approx. ₹41,400) for the 8GB+128GB variant, while the 8GB+256GB model of the device costs CNY 3,799 (approx. ₹45,000). The top of the line 12GB+256GB variant of the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is priced at CNY 3,999 (approx. ₹47,300). The device is available for pre-order in China and will go on sale starting next week. The smartphone will arrive in three colour variants—black, white, and gold.
Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Features, Specifications
Starting with the display, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also comes with an HDR10+ support and an X7 independent chip. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is worth noting that the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is the world’s first phone to feature LPDDR5X RAM.

In terms of software, the smartphone will run on Android 12 operating system. For photography, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition offers a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main camera with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. The smartphone relies on a 16MP selfie snapper for selfies and video calls.
Coming to the battery of the device, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 100W fast charging. The smartphone will also come with a GaN (Gallium Nitride) charger, which is said to reduce heat by up to 85 percent. It claims to fully fuel up the device to 100 percent in just 25 minutes. Additionally, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition comes equipped with a dual VC flagship cooling system.
Connectivity features on the device include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, 5G, and a USB Type-C port. Coming to dimensions, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is 8.17mm thick and weighs around 195 grams.
