Realme has revealed the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition launch date via its Weibo handle. As per the image shared by the brand, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will launch in China on July 12 at 2 PM (local time). A few key specifications of the device are already known thanks to several leaks as well as the TENAA certification listing. As per previous reports, the company has already confirmed that the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will make use of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC.
Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Specifications (Expected)
If the leaked specifications are to be believed, the upcoming Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The device is likely to offer a refresh rate of 120Hz. As confirmed by Realme earlier, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The System On Chip is expected to include up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device is also said to launch with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage.
As for the software, the smartphone is expected to run the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 software version out of the box. In terms of the optics, the handset might feature a triple-camera setup. The camera module is reported to include a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP sensor. The selfies and video-calling department on the device might be handled by a 16MP sensor. For security, the smartphone is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
