Realme is all set to launch the Realme GT 2 series devices on January 4 in China. Yesterday, Realme revealed that its upcoming Realme GT 2 will come with three world’s first innovations. These innovations include bio-based design, 150° ultra-wide-angle lens, and ultra wide band HyperSmart antenna switching. Now, ahead of the launch, Realme has released the first set of teasers for an upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro series flagship phone. The teaser shared by the company showcases the back panel of the device with the paper tech master design.

Realme has teamed with a global materials company – Sabic for the environmentally friendly material for the flagship device. The teaser images show Designed by Naoto Fukusawa text along with his signature on the rear panel hinting that this could be a Master Edition handset. Let us take a closer look at the teasers:
The teaser confirms that the upcoming handset will feature a rectangular camera module which will reside on the top left corner. The upcoming Realme flagship will offer a triple-rear camera setup and quad-LED flash. The camera setup on the device will include two 50MP sensors and the primary sensor will also feature optical image stabilization support. The handset will come with a metal frame as network antennas can clearly be seen on the top edge.
The teaser images showcase a design language different from the renders that were leaked last month. According to Steve (also known as OnLeaks), the renders leaked by him earlier were of the camera-focused smartphone under the Realme GT 2 lineup. Whereas, the teasers shared by the company showcase the Realme GT 2 Pro Master Edition.
The Realme GT 2 Pro is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The handset will offer up to 1TB onboard storage and come preloaded with Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0. A variant of the handset is also said to come with an under-display front camera. The upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro will be the company’s first premium flagship smartphone and is said to cost over $800 (around ₹60,000).
