It’s no secret that Realme is working on its first-ever premium flagship smartphone: the Realme GT 2 Pro. Realme CEO Sky Li had recently confirmed that the company’s upcoming flagship will be called the Realme GT 2 Pro. High-quality renders of the upcoming device were leaked on the web a couple of days back. It has already been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark with a score of over one million points.
Realme has now officially confirmed that the upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro will be one of the first handsets to feature the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Furthermore, Realme Vice President Madhav Sheth has revealed that the Realme GT 2 Pro will make its global debut this month.
Realme GT 2 Pro: Design, Specifications, and Features
The Realme GT 2 Pro will sport a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset which is built on a 4nm fabrication process. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 comes with some improvements over its predecessor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ 5G. The mobile chipset comes with an integrated X65 5G modem, a new Adreno GPU, and an 18-bit triple image signal processor.

Additionally, the handset is said to offer a 6.8-inch OLED display with WQHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The leaked renders have confirmed that the first-ever premium flagship from Realme will come with a Nexus 6P-like design. This means that the handset will have a raised horizontal bar-shaped module at the top of the back panel. This raised module will house three rear cameras and an LED flash. The upcoming Realme handset is said to feature a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8MP telephoto rear camera. The GT 2 Pro is expected to offer a 32MP camera for selfies.
The Realme GT 2 Neo is reported to support 125W fast charging. Previous leaks had suggested that the device will come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The handset is expected to boot Android 12 with the company’s proprietary Realme UI 3.0 on top. The Realme GT 2 Pro is said to retail for $799 (roughly ₹59,851).
