Realme GT 2 Pro Specifications, Design Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Realme is gearing up to launch a new GT series smartphone: Realme GT 2 Pro. In the past, the company had revealed that it will launch a new premium phone that will cost over $800 (around ₹60,000). The upcoming smartphone will feature the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a premium design. The render of this upcoming handset was revealed by popular leakster OnLeaks (in collaboration with 91Mobiles) ahead of next year’s launch. The leaked renders show that the Realme GT 2 Pro will be a premium smartphone and will offer flagship specifications and its design could be similar to the Google Nexus 6P.

Realme GT 2 Pro Renders, Specifications

We can see that the Realme GT 2 Pro resembles the Nexus 6P. The device will have a horizontal camera module at the rear, and it will house three camera sensors and a dual-LED flash. The engraved text on the camera module suggests that the handset will have two 50MP cameras (primary and ultrawide) with GR Lens and an 8MP telephoto camera.

The back of the device appears to be covered in ceramic, while the flat frame on the sides appears to be metal. The power button sits towards the right side and there’s Realme branding at the rear. The front design can’t be seen yet. However, one can expect the Realme GT 2 Pro to feature a punch-hole-shaped display cutout and thin bezels around the screen.

Moving onto Realme GT 2 Pro specifications, OnLeaks claims that the phone will sport a 6.8-inch OLED display with WQHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

We can expect the device to boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box. A past leak had suggested that the smartphone will pack up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Rumours are rife that this upcoming smartphone will offer 125W fast charging.

Realme GT 2 Pro Price, Launch Date

As far as the Realme GT 2 Pro price is concerned, the smartphone will be priced around $799 (around ₹60,000) for the base variant. Considering the leaked pricing, the Realme GT 2 Pro will be the most expensive smartphone ever from Realme. We can expect more details about this upcoming smartphone in the next few weeks. Leak suggests that the Realme GT 2 Pro will debut sometime in Q1 2022.
