Realme will soon be adding the latest Narzo 50A Prime smartphone to its existing lineup consisting of the Narzo 50i, Narzo 50A, and the recently launched Narzo 50. The Narzo 50A Prime made its debut in other Asian markets such as Indonesia and Malaysia last week and offers a large display, an octa-core Unisoc chipset, a 50MP camera, and a massive battery on a budget. According to a reliable tipster Mukul Sharma, the Realme 50A Prime will soon be reaching the shores of India.
Narzo 50A Prime: Features, Specifications
The Narzo 50A Prime comes with a different design at the rear compared to the Narzo 50A. The Narzo 50A Prime gets iPhone-esque flat sides, as opposed to the rounded ones of the Narzo 50A. The handset is built entirely out of polycarbonate and flaunts a dual-tone finish at the rear. The topmost part of the device gets a glossy treatment, while the rest of the device comes with a carbon fibre finish. The fingerprint sensor is also being shifted to the side, veering away from the rear-mounted sensor placement on the Narzo 50A. It is essentially a Realme C35 under the skin with a lower spec processor.
The handset sports a large 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD with a 60Hz screen refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 401ppi, and a 90.7 percent screen-to-body-ratio. The display can achieve a peak brightness of 600nits for a comfortable viewing under sunlight. It doesn’t get a punch-hole cutout but comes with an awful looking waterdrop notch at the front. The Narzo 50A Prime is powered by an octa-core Unisoc Tiger T612 processor built on the 12 nm fabrication process. It is equipped with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and comes in 64GB and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage variants. It comes with a dedicated memory card slot that can gobble up to 1TB microSD card.

The ancillary cameras include a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP B&W sensor with f/2.8 aperture. Selfie aficionados will have to make do with an 8MP f/2.0 aperture sensor at the front.
Other noteworthy features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, GLONASS, BEIDOU, GALILEO, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset is powered by a 5000mAh battery under its hood coupled with 18-watt quick charging. The Narzo 50A Prime runs on Realme UI R Edition based on top of the Android 11 operating system.
