Realme Narzo 50i Prime With UNISOC T612 To Debut On September 13 In India: Specifications

Realme will be adding yet another entry-level smartphone to its portfolio in India. The brand has shared a teaser of the upcoming Narzo 50i Prime, revealing its battery capacity and launch date. The smartphone will arrive on September 13, 2022, at 12:30 PM in the country. As it is already available in the global markets, there’s nothing new to speculate about this smartphone. So, without any further ado, let’s dive into its specifications. 

Realme Narzo 50i Prime: Features, Specifications

The Realme Narzo 50i Prime, despite being a budget smartphone, comes with an interesting design at the rear. There’s a huge camera island that is colour blended and houses the single camera sensor and LED flash. The rest of the rear panel gets a vertical stripe design with reflective patterns. The handset comes with flat sides, following the current trend in the smartphone industry. However, it gets a dated waterdrop notch on the top of the display, which is expected in this price range. 

The Realme Narzo 50i Prime sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution, 270 PPI, and 400nits of brightness. The device is powered by a UNISOC T612 processor, which is based on the 12nm fabrication process. It comprises of two ARM Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.8GHz. The handset is equipped with up to 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 64GB of UFS 2.2 type internal storage. 

Talking about its camera setup, it comes with a single 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture with AF at the rear. It can record Full HD 1080p videos at 30 fps. For selfie and video calling duties, there’s a 5MP f/2.2 aperture sensor at the front. 

Some noteworthy features of the Realme Narzo 50i Prime include 4G LTE, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, A-GPS, FM radio, dedicated microSD card slot, microUSB 2.0, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, among others. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery coupled with 10W charging. It is likely to run on Realme UI R Edition based on Android 11.

As for the pricing, the Realme Narzo 50i Prime is priced at $99.99 (approx. ₹7,820) for the base 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model in global markets. Expect it to be priced similarly in India as the Realme C30 on which it is based, which comes with a price tag of around ₹8,000.
