It has two side brushes that work alongside a vacuum with a 3000Pa suction power. On top of that, it is equipped with an inbuilt tank that holds about 300ml (about a size of a Coke can) of water for mopping.
To move around on its own, the robot uses LiDAR mapping technology. It is the same technology that powers autonomous cars. Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) fires light waves in 360-degree and by calculating the time it takes to receive the bounced signal, it creates a depth map of the surroundings.
As per Realme, its system has 98% accuracy in mapping and creating optimal paths. You can fine-tune settings such as cleaning sequence, suction power, speed, and more from Realme’s companion app on Android and iOS platforms. You can even set a cleaning time for particular areas or exclude them altogether. The robot is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The vacuum bot holds a 5,200mAh battery, which as per Realme offers 300 minutes of cleaning on a single charge.
Realme TechLife Handheld Vacuum Cleaner Features
Along with its robot cleaner, Realme also unveiled its handheld vacuum cleaner. Made from ABS material, it looks like poor man’s Dyson V8. With its 140W motor, Realme’s Handheld Vacuum Cleaner has enough power to generate 10,500RPM speed, resulting in suction power of 9.5KPa.
The vacuum is equipped with a floor brush that rotates at around 2,200RPM to collect the dust. Realme also throws in additional brushes for different scenarios. The vacuum comes with a HEPA filter to capture allergy-causing substances.
Realme claims that its TechLife Handheld Vacuum Cleaner houses a 2,200 mAh battery, which lasts for up to 40 minutes in low-powered mode and around 20 minutes in strong mode.
