The Realme Watch 3 has been making appearances on certification websites for a couple of months now. Tipster Mukul Sharma reports that it has finally completed the Indian BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification. The smartwatch was also spotted at the Bluetooth SIG with the model number RMW2108.
According to a report by MySmartPrice, Realme’s new watch with the model number RMW2108 was spotted on IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) website in Singapore, and on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) back in May 2022. The BIS database reveals that the upcoming Realme Watch 3 will be manufactured in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Whether it will be a completely “Made in India” watch or just assembled in India, is something that remains to be seen. Expect the new watch to come with improvements over the Realme Watch 2, which was introduced back in 2021.
Realme Watch 2: Highlights
The Realme Watch 3’s predecessor, the Watch 2, comes with an Apple Watch-inspired design with “Dare To Leap” branding on the silicone strap. It sports a 1.4-inch rectangular LCD with 323 PPI and 600 nits of peak brightness. The watch comes loaded with over 100 watch faces, some of which are Live watch faces. You can even customise the watch faces according to your taste.
The smartwatch features over 90 sports modes such as boxing, golf, strength training, yoga, running, walking, table tennis, hiking, and basketball, among others. The brand claims that the Realme Watch 2 comes with upgraded PPG sensors, which help in accurate all-day heart rate tracking. Furthermore, its SpO2 sensor helps you to check your blood oxygen levels.
Some noteworthy features of the smartwatch include IP68 water/dust resistance, sleep monitor, smart IoT device control, weather forecast, hydration reminders, music control, camera control, and Find My Phone features, among others. The Realme Watch 2 packs in a 315mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver up to 12 days of backup.
