Red Magic 7S And 7S Pro With 6.8-inch FHD+ Display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC To Be Launched On July 11

Nubia, a subsidiary of Chinese mobile phone manufacturer ZTE, has announced that it will launch the Red Magic 7S series of smartphones on July 11, 2022, in China. The series consist of two smartphones—the Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro. The company introduced the Red Magic 7 series phones earlier this year. The upcoming Nubia Red Magic 7S series will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Red Magic 7S And Red Magic 7S Pro Launch Date Confirmed: Specifications

Nubia will launch the Red Magic 7S series consisting of the Red Magic 7S and the Red Magic 7S Pro smartphones on July 11, 2022. Based on the TENAA certification, both smartphones will come powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processors, while retaining other specifications, including under screen camera for the Red Magic 7S Pro. Further, a 3C certification revealed 165W fast chargers for both the models.

Red Magic 7S Specifications (Expected)

The Nubia Red Magic 7S will reportedly feature a 6.8-inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate and up to 720Hz touch sampling rate. The display could also offer 10bit color depth and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut with up to 700 nits brightness. Powering the device will be an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is paired with 8GB/12GB/16GB/18GB RAM and 28GB/256GB/512GB internal storage. The Red Magic 7S will boot Android 12 with Redmagic Operating System 5.0 out of the box.

For photography, the device might offer a 64MP main camera, an 8MP Ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The Red Magic 7S could feature an 8MP selfie snapper. The upcoming Nubia smartphone is said to be powered by a 4,500mAh battery unit with 165W fast charging support.

In terms of connectivity, the device could offer 5G NSA /SA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz + 6GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1/L5)+ GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. The smartphone might also retain the 3.5mm audio jack. Coming to dimensions, the Nubia Red Magic 7S should measure 170.57 × 78.33 × 9.5mm and weigh around 215gm.

Red Magic 7S Pro Specifications (Expected)

The Nubia Red Magic 7S Pro is said to feature a 6.8-inch (2400 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The device will come equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which could be paired with 8GB/12GB/16GB/18GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB internal storage. The Nubia Red Magic 7S Pro will run on Android 12 with Redmagic OS 5.0.

Speaking of the battery, the Nubia Red Magic 7S Pro is said to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 165W fast charging support. Other primary features of the device may include an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, Dual Smart PA, and three mics.
