Xiaomi has silently launched a new Redmi handset in the global markets. The latest Redmi 10 2022 is a refresh of last year’s Redmi 10 and comes with identical specifications. The latest Redmi smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery. It offers a large display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 50MP quad-rear camera setup. Redmi 10 Specifications And Features

The Redmi 10 features a 6.5 inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixel) resolution, 405ppi pixel density, and 90Hz refresh rate. The display supports AdaptiveSync feature and can switch between 45Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz depending on the content. The display panel features a centered punch-hole notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Powering the Redmi 10 2022 is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor that is fabbed on a 12nm process. It brings with it an integrated ARM Mali G52 GPU, 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB eMMC storage. The handset boots MIUI 12.5, based on Android 11.

In terms of optics, it features a quad-rear camera setup and a LED flash. The primary sensor on the handset is a 50MP shooter with an F/1.8 aperture. Accompanying it is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120° field of view and an F/2.2 aperture. The Redmi 10 2022 also features a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it comes equipped with an 8MP shooter that has an F2.0 aperture.

Under the hood, the Redmi 10 2022 sports a 5,000mAh battery unit and supports 18W fast charging. It also supports reverse wired charging at 9W. It has a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a stereo speaker setup.

In terms of connectivity, it offers Dual-SIM, 4G, 2.4GHz + 5GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC (in some regions), GPS, and GLONASS. It measures 161.95 x 75.53 x 8.92mm and weighs 181g. The handset will be sold in three colour options—Pebble White, Carbon Gray, and Sea Blue. Xiaomi is yet to announce the pricing of the Redmi 10 2022.
