Xiaomi Redmi K50i India Launch Set For July 20

After weeks of leaks and rumours, Xiaomi‘s Redmi has finally confirmed that the Redmi K-series is making a comeback in the Indian market with the Redmi K50i. As per the official announcement, the Xiaomi Redmi K50i will launch on July 20 in the country. The company took to social media channels to make an announcement for the same. The launch teaser also reveals the design of the upcoming Redmi K50i.

The Redmi K50i, based on the teaser, appears to be quite similar to the Redmi Note 11T Pro series devices, in terms of design. Let us take a closer look at the brand’s social media post.

Xiaomi Redmi K50i: What To Expect!

The Redmi K50i is said to be a rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro 5G which was launched a couple of months ago in the Chinese market. If so, the Redmi K50i will offer a 144Hz LCD display, which might be a disappointment for many considering the Redmi K20 series devices offer an AMOLED display. The Redmi K50i is said to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. The Dimensity 8100 is fabbed on a TSMC’s 5nm process and brings with it Mali G610 GPU.

The Redmi K50i is expected to be backed by a 5,080mAh battery unit and 67W fast charging support. A recent report reveals that Xiaomi will bundle the 67W fast charging adapter in the Redmi K50i retail box. It will offer a triple-rear camera setup as seen in the teaser. The primary sensor on the smartphone might be a 64MP sensor. The high-resolution sensor might be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. It is said to come with a 16MP front snapper.
