Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11 series, which arrives as a rebranded Redmi Note 10S, has launched in India today. While the phone’s specs were already available when it was announced yesterday, Xiaomi India’s product page has some interesting details which had slipped under the radar. The smartphone’s “package contents” section reveals that the device will ship without a charger.

The product page does not list a charger among the package contents. This will be the first time that Redmi won’t be shipping an adapter in the retail box. It appears that the company is following in the footsteps of Apple, Samsung, and other brands that no longer come with bundled chargers in the box.

It remains to be seen if customers will get a similar option for the upcoming Redmi Note 11 SE, which is set to go on sale on August 31, 2022.
