Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Note 11T smartphone back in November 2021 in India. The company has now added two new handsets to the Redmi Note 11 lineup—Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S—in the country. Alongside these smartphones, the company has also launched the Redmi Smart Band Pro and the Redmi Smart TV X43. To recall, these devices were launched a couple of weeks ago in the global markets.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 price in India starts at ₹13,499, while the Redmi Note 11S will be available for purchase starting at ₹16,499. Both smartphones can be purchased from Amazon.in, mi.com, Mi Home, and other major offline retail stores.
The Redmi Note 11 will go on sale starting February 11, 2022. The Redmi Note 11S will be available for purchase starting February 21, 2022. As a part of the launch offer, Xiaomi is offering a ₹1,000 discount across all variants when the purchase is made using Bank of Baroda credit and debit cards.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 flaunts a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), 409ppi pixel density, and 1,000nits peak brightness. The display panel on the device refreshes 90 times a second (90Hz) and supports a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display has a contrast ratio of 45,00,000:1 and covers the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Under the hood, there is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor which is fabricated on TSMC’s 6nm process. It includes the Adreno 610 GPU, up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The same processor also powers the recently launched Realme 9i.
The Redmi Note 11 has a quad-rear camera setup and an LED flash on the rear. The primary shooter is a 50MP sensor with an F1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera with a 118° field-of-view and an F2.2 aperture. There is also a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 13MP front-facing camera with an F2.4 aperture. Video recording is limited to Full HD resolution at 30fps, though, which is a shame in this day and age.
The Redmi Note 11 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery unit and supports 33W Pro fast charging. For charging and data transfers, it uses a USB Type-C port. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack with Hi-Res audio.
In terms of connectivity, it has a dual-SIM card slot, 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. It weighs 179g and measures 159.87×73.87×8.09mm. The Redmi Note 11 will be available for purchase in Horizon Blue, Space Black, and Stardust White colour variants.

Similar to the Redmi Note 11, the Redmi Note 11S also features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), 409ppi pixel density, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, 45,00,000:1 contrast ratio, and 1,000 nits peak brightness. The display supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11S sports is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. This is the same processor that powers other mid-range handsets such as the Realme 8i and the Infinix Note 11 Pro.
The Redmi Note 11S comes equipped with a quad-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary shooter uses a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor (1/1.52-inch) and an F1.9 aperture. Accompanying it is an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera with a 118° field-of-view and an F2.2 aperture. There is also a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. The Redmi Note 11S has a 16MP front-facing camera with an F2.4 aperture. Video recording is limited to Full HD resolution at 30fps, though.
The Redmi Note 11 and the Redmi Note 11S boot MIUI 13 out of the box, but it is based on Android 11.
