Redmi is reported to be working on launching a new mid-range tablet, dubbed the Redmi Pad 5G. While there is little known about the specifications of the device, a live shot revealing the rear design of the upcoming Redmi tablet was recently spotted online. The tablet was also listed on the CMIIT certification website a couple of months ago. As per the latest report, the serial production of the Redmi Pad 5G has already begun in various countries. The tipster believes that the upcoming tablet is the Redmi Pad 5G. Hence, we can expect the tablet to arrive soon. Apart from this, the leak doesn’t uncover any details about the device.
As mentioned earlier, the Redmi Pad 5G was listed on the CMIIT certification website in the past. The listing revealed that the upcoming Redmi tablet will come with support for 5G and Wi-Fi 802.11ac connectivity. Furthermore, the device was also spotted on the 3C certification website with the model number 22081281AC. The listing confirmed that the Redmi Pad 5G will be launched with 67W fast charging support.

Based on past leaks, the Redmi Pad 5G will come equipped with a MediaTek processor, which could be paired with the MIUI Lite software. Do note that this software is meant for low-end devices. We can also expect the brand to launch a Pro variant of the tablet in the future.
