Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has officially launched two new thin-and-light laptops: RedmiBook 15 e-Learning Edition and the RedmiBook 15 Pro. Both these models feature a 15.6-inch display with Full HD resolution. The RedmiBook 15 Pro features a polycarbonate body with a brushed metal look and it has large cooling vents on the bottom.

The RedmiBook 15 e-Learning Edition is equipped with the 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor, while the RedmiBook 15 Pro model is equipped with the 11th Gen Core i5-11300H processor. Both these latest offering by Redmi comes with 8GB of RAM and packs 512GB of SSD storage.

The Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 Pro is priced at ₹49,999, and it features 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 e-Learning Edition is priced at ₹41,999 for the 256GB storage model and ₹44,999 for the 512GB storage variant. These new RedmiBook laptops will be available from Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores starting August 6, 2021.

    Both the RedmiBook laptops feature near-identical specifications, except that they pack different hardware under the hood. Both the laptops feature a 15.6-inch display with Full HD resolution (1,920 × 1,080 pixels) and 250 nits brightness. Under the hood, the RedmiBook 15 Pro is equipped with an 11th Gen. i5-11300H processor, aided with the Intel Iris XE Graphics. On the other hand, the RedmiBook 15 e-Learning Edition comes with an 11th Gen. Intel Core i3 1115G4 processor.

    The RedmiBook 15 Pro ships in a single configuration that has 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage. The RedmiBook 15 e-Learning Edition comes with 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and is available in 256GB and 512GB SSD storage options. As for the software, both these laptops runs Windows 10 Home and they come loaded with Microsoft Office Home and Student Edition 2019. These new laptops feature a dual-microphone setup, stereo speakers, and a 720p webcam.

    Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 e-Learning Edition

    For connectivity, both the RedmiBook 15 laptops have two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one HDMI port, one Ethernet port, an SD card reader, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 5.0. Both laptops have a 3.5mm microphone jack and DTS Audio support. These laptops come are powered by a 46Wh battery and the company claims that they can last up to 10 hours on a single charge. Both these models feature 65W fast charging support, which allows the laptops to get charged up to 50% in just 33 minutes.
