The ever-popular IPL (Indian Premier League) has finally resumed for its second leg in the hot and humid UAE, but it is the telecom giant Reliance Jio that seems to feel the heat. Since its rivals Airtel and Vi (Vodafone Idea) have already updated their combo recharge packs, Jio has now revised its Cricket Plans that come bundled with the Disney+ Hotstar subscription. It now offers additional data as well as 20% cashback offers on its recharges from Rs 200 onwards.

This makes a total of 90GB of data for a period of 28 days. You get one year of free Disney+ Hotstar subscription and access to Jio’s suite of applications like Jio Cloud, Jio Security, Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and Jio News.
Airtel’s ₹499 plan offers a similar 3GB/day data cap for 28 days. It also gets one year of free subscription to Disney+ Hotstar. On top of that, you get a one-month trial subscription to Amazon Prime Video for mobile, ₹100 cashback on FASTag, and a Wynk Music subscription which the Jio plan misses out on.
Just for two bucks more, Vi’s ₹502 plan offers a lot more value than its rivals. For starters, it has 16GB of additional data over the 3GB/day data cap for 28 days. It has free night data from 12 AM to 6 AM. Users can gain access to Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, and Vi Movies and TV for one year. Also, unused data during the weekdays gets carried over and can be utilized on Sat-Sun.

Jio calls it the ‘Super Value’ pack and offers 5GB of additional data over the 2GB/day data cap for a period of 84 days. Other benefits include a free Disney+ Hotstar subscription and access to Jio’s suite of applications like Jio Cloud, Jio Security, Jio TV, Jio Cinema and Jio News.
While Airtel has no answer to this pack of Jio, Vi simply trumps it with its ₹901 plan. It provides 3GB/day for a period of 84 days and additional data of 48GB. It also gets other benefits as its ₹502 plan.
Jio’s Updated ₹2,599 Plan vs. The Competition
This one gets additional 10GB of data over the regular 2GB/day data allowance. This pack has you covered for 365 days. All other benefits remain the same as its aforementioned plans.
Airtel with its ₹2,798 plan offers 2GB/day for a period of 365 days. It comes with Disney+ Hotstar and Amazon Prime Video Mobile subscription trial for 30 days and other benefits as its ₹499 plan.
Vi’s ₹2,595 plan in comparison offers lesser daily data which is capped at 1.5GB/day for 365 days. It doesn’t offer any additional data with this pack while other subscription benefits remain the same as its ₹502 and ₹901 plans.
