Reliance Launches ₹259 ‘Calendar Month Validity’ Prepaid Plan With 1.5GB Data, Unlimited Calls

Reliance Jio has introduced a new ‘Calendar month validity’ prepaid recharge plan that is priced at ₹259 and offers unlimited voice calling and data benefits. The newly launched ₹259 plan is designed to auto-renew on the same date every month. The plan includes 1.5GB of internet data benefits, SMS, and voice calling. Reliance Jio ₹259 Plan Benefits

Jio is offering the new prepaid plan is priced at ₹259 to both the new and existing users. The plan offers 1.5GB of high-speed data, 100 SMS per day, unlimited voice calling, and a subscription to Jio apps throughout the validity. The newly launched ₹259 prepaid plan by Jio is similar to that of the ₹239 plan, except that the new plan offers “calendar month validity”.

The launch of the new prepaid plan by Jio comes two months after TRAI advised telcos to offer at least one plan voucher, special tariff voucher, and one combo voucher having a validity of 30 days. The ₹259 plan can be recharged multiple times. If you recharge prior to the expiry date, the plan will be added to the queue and gets activated when the validity of the current plan is over.

In a piece of related news, Jio had launched ₹555 and ₹2,999 prepaid recharge plan in India with Disney+ Hostar mobile subscription. The ₹555 Jio prepaid recharge plan includes up to 55GB data and has a validity of 55 days. This new plan however lacks voice calls and SMS benefits. Similar to other plans, the ₹555 plan also includes a complimentary subscription to Jio apps.

On the other hand, the ₹2,999 Jio prepaid recharge plan offers 2.5GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day. The plan has a validity of 365 days and also offers a complimentary subscription to Jio apps.
