Samsung 2022 Lifestyle TVs Announced; The Frame, Serif, Sero TVs to Feature Matte Screens

Samsung is on a roll with a slew of announcements prior to CES 2022. The South Korean firm unveiled its latest 2022 Lifestyle TVs along with its new MicroLED TVs, Neo QLED TVs, and soundbars.

Samsung 2022 Lifestyle TVs Features

Samsung’s 2022 Lifestyle TVs come with “a new Matte Display with anti-glare, anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint properties”. The Frame, The Sero and The Serif versions of the new Lifestyle TVs will feature these matte screens for a better viewing experience. Underwriters Laboratories, a global safety certification company, has certified that the Samsung 20222 Lifestyle TV’s matte displays are ‘Reflection Glare Free’, ‘Discomfort Glare Free’ and ‘Disability Glare Free’.

The Frame promises “the most realistic art viewing experience outside of a museum” owing to its matte display with anti-glare and low-reflection panel technology. It will come in sizes ranging from 32 inches for the lower-end model and capped at 85 inches for the higher-end version.

The Serif, just like its counterpart, features a matte display for a premium look. It will be available in in sizes ranging from 43 inches to 65 inches.

The Sero, on the other hand, will feature both vertical and horizontal modes of display. The new vertical Multi View function will let you consume different content on the top as well as bottom of the display. For instance, if you want to look up a particular actor while watching a movie, you can quickly search for the details online while the movie is playing.

All of Samsung’s 2022 Smart TVs will feature a Gaming Hub, a Watch Together app, and NFT support. Besides, it will feature Smart Calibration which will let you calibrate the screen. It comes in two modes, Basic Mode and Professional Mode. Basic mode will calibrate the screens within 30 seconds, whereas Professional Mode will take up to 10 minutes to calibrate the screen for optimal picture quality.

Samsung 2022 Lifestyle TVs Customized Features

Samsung’s 2022 Lifestyle TVs, as well as the other 2022 models will come with customizable options. Inspired by the Sero’s vertical display mode, the Auto Rotating Wall Mount and Stand will also support a vertical multi view feature. The new mode will support mirroring, casting, Ambient Mode+ as well as Art Mode. The remote control will feature a new rotation key to switch between horizontal and vertical configurations.
