Last year, Samsung swiftly rolled out Android 12 One UI 4.0 to its devices. If the company keeps up the pace, we can expect a quick rollout this year as well. Currently, Samsung provides four years of major Android updates, along with five years of security updates to most of its smartphone offerings.
Google had released the third public beta of Android 13 to select Pixel smartphones earlier this month. To recap, the first Android 13 developer preview rolled out in February this year. Then came the first public beta in April, followed by the second public beta in May. Android 13 offers enhanced privacy features and brings support for large screens with split-screen mode. Moreover, it introduces support for Bluetooth LE Audio, HDR video, and DNS Over HTTPS (DoH).
