While a report in the past suggested that the Samsung S23 series could ship with upgraded selfie cameras, the same might not hold true for the telephoto camera of the devices. According to the most recent update on the upcoming S23 series, the Samsung Galaxy S23 and the Samsung Galaxy S23+ will likely feature the exact same telephoto camera setup as available on their predecessors.
Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ Telephoto Camera Details Leaked
According to the latest report, the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ might arrive with the same 10MP resolution for the telephoto shooter as the Samsung Galaxy S22 and the Samsung Galaxy S22+. This means that the devices will most likely have the 3X zooming capabilities, and feature the same sensors as the S22 and S22+ devices launched earlier this year.

While the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ are said to arrive with the same telephoto camera setup, the same cannot be said for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, as the top-tier model is more than likely to feature an upgraded camera setup. Also, there is still plenty of time left until the brand launches its flagship S23 series. Hence, we can expect a lot of changes in the plans. Therefore, it is always better to take such reports with a slight grain of salt.
