Fan Edition Series Will Make a Comeback With Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Next Year
Folks at The Elec claim that Samsung doesn’t have a plan to kill the Fan Edition series altogether and the series will make a comeback with the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE next year. The report further suggests that Samsung has decided to cancel the Galaxy S22 FE development as it is struggling to meet the demand for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. This is due to the chip shortage as well as the increased demand for the flagship model.

The report reveals that Samsung had planned to ship the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE with the exact same chipset as that of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series and it was aiming to sell 3 million units of the Galaxy S22 FE. However, due to the strong demand for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series device, particularly the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, the brand had to revise its strategy.
To those unaware, Samsung’s aim was to sell 10 million units of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and as per the reports, the brand is going strong towards its goal. The brand is planning to sell 13 million units of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, 30 percent more than its current Ultra model.
