Samsung has launched the Galaxy A22s 5G smartphone in Russia. This latest device is a rebadged version of the Galaxy A22 5G that was introduced in July 2021 in India. Speaking of its specifications, the Galaxy A22s 5G sports a 6.6-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. The device comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, a 48MP triple-camera setup on the rear, and an 8MP selfie camera at the front. The Samsung Galaxy A22s 5G has a water-drop-shaped notch at the top of the display that houses the selfie camera. The device has a triple-camera setup on the rear, accompanied by a LED flash. On the right side, there’s a fingerprint sensor, which is embedded into the power button. The smartphone features a 6.6-inch TFT LCD display that has Full HD+ resolution (2,408 x 1,080 pixels) and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The device comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor. The device packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. For storage expansion, the handset has a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the front, the Galaxy A22s 5G features an 8MP selfie camera. The rear-facing triple-camera module includes a 48MP primary camera, a 5MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP tertiary camera. The rear-facing primary camera has 10x digital zoom and it can shoot up to 120fps slow-motion videos at HD resolution.
A 5,000mAh battery powers the Galaxy A22s 5G, and it supports 15W fast charging. Connectivity features of the smartphone include a dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone measures 167.2 x 76.4 x 9.0 mm and weighs 203g.
