Samsung has launched a new version of the Galaxy A23 5G in Japan today. The new model is slightly different when compared to the previous variant of the smartphone, which was launched back in August 2022. The newly launched Samsung Galaxy A23 offers a 5.8-inch HD+ LCD panel with an Infinity-V notch, a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, 4GB of RAM, a 50MP main camera, and a 5MP selfie camera, among other features. Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Price, Availability

The new version of the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is priced at JPY 32,800 (approx. ₹18,965). The smartphone comes in a single 4GB + 64GB storage variant. The new Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is currently available for purchase in Japan. The device comes three colour variants: Red, Black, and White.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G features a 5.8-inch HD+ Infinity-V TFT LCD screen that offers a resolution of 1,560×720 pixels. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The internal storage is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. On the software front, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G boots Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box.

In terms of imaging, the new Samsung smartphone offers a 50MP main camera accompanied by an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the device features a 5MP selfie snapper. Speaking of the battery, the Galaxy A23 5G is backed by a 4,000mAh unit. The handset also retains a 3.5mmheadphone jack.

For connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G offers options such as 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, USB Type-C, and NFC. Plus, the phone has a fingerprint scanner on the side. It also comes with IPX5/IPX8 water and IP6X dust resistance rating.
