Last week, Samsung launched the Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, and the Galaxy A73 5G smartphones in the global market. Today, the company has unveiled the Galaxy A53 5G smartphone in India. The Galaxy A53 5G, as the name suggests, is a 5G offering by Samsung which is priced at under ₹40,000 in India. The device boasts of a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone has 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a 64MP camera, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 32MP selfie camera. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Price In India, Availability

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G price in India starts at ₹34,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The top-end model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage costs ₹35,999. The handset will be available for pre-booking between March 21 and 31 on Samsung.com, retail stores, and select online portals. Customer who have pre-booked the device can purchase them starting from March 25.

As a special offer, Samsung is offering cashback worth ₹3000 for those who pre-book the device. They can also avail a Samsung Finance+ cashback worth ₹2000.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Specifications, Features

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G flaunts a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate, 800 nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Powering the device is Samsung’s in-house 5nm octa-core Exynos 1280 SoC. The handset packs up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has RAM Plus support which allows RAM expansion up to 16GB. The device runs Android 12 out of the box with One UI 4.1 on top. As promised by Samsung, the Galaxy A53 5G will get four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates.

In terms of imaging, the Galaxy A53 5G sports a quad-camera setup, which includes a 64MP main sensor with OIS support and an f/1.8 aperture. The camera module also houses a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a pair of 5MP depth and macro camera units. On the front side, the A53 5G features a 32MP selfie camera that has an f/2.2 aperture. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery which has 25W fast charging support.
