The Samsung Galaxy A53 is the company’s upcoming mid-range handset under the A-series. The successor to last year’s Galaxy A52 is expected to be launched in coming months. Ahead of the launch, Roland Quandt has now revealed the images and key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A53. The leaked information reveals that the handset will bring subtle improvements over its predecessor, and we shouldn’t expect any major changes. The design of the upcoming Galaxy A53 is similar to that of its predecessor. This means that the handset will offer a bezel-less display with a centred punch-hole notch and a sizeable chin. The back panel of the device will house the rectangular camera module on the top left corner. The right edge of the handset will house the power button and the volume rockers. The chassis as well as the back panel of the device are made of polycarbonate.

The Galaxy A53 will reportedly sport a 6.5-inch sAMOLED display with a Full HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixel) resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel will also make room for an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Exynos 1200 features 2 performance cores (with 2.4GHz frequency) and 6 efficiency cores (with 1.8GHz clock speed). The SoC also brings with it an integrated Mali G68 GPU.
The Galaxy A53 will offer a quad-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary shooter on the device will be a 64MP sensor which will be accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. For selfies, the handset is said to offer a 32MP sensor.
The Galaxy A53 might offer a 5,000mAh battery unit and 25W fast charging support. The handset will weigh around 189grams and will be around 8.1mm thick. The handset will offer 5G connectivity along with Bluetooth 5.x, WiFi, and NFC.
The handset is said to come in two memory configurations—6GB and 8GB. In terms of onboard storage, the handset will offer 128GB storage with a micro-SD card slot.
