Samsung Galaxy A73 5G Leak Reveals Design, Specifications, Price, and Launch Timeline

Just yesterday, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G smartphone. The Korean tech giant now seems to be gearing up to launch another A-series handset: the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G. A new leak has revealed the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G renders, specifications, price, as well as launch timeline—courtesy of Zoutons and OnLeaks. The leaked information suggests that the handset will launch by the end of this month and will carry a price tag of ₹32,999.

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G: Renders and Design

The leaked renders reveal the complete design of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A73 5G. Going by the renders, the Galaxy A73 5G seems to have borrowed its design from its predecessor, the Galaxy A72. This means the handset will have a plastic build. The renders reveal a bezel-less display with a centered punch-hole notch. The back of the phone has a rectangular camera module at the top left corner.

The right edge of the handset will house the power button and the volume rockers. The primary microphone, speaker, and charging port will be located at the bottom edge. Whereas the top edge will house the SIM card tray and secondary mic. It is also to be noted that the Galaxy A73 5G won’t offer a 3.5mm audio jack.

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G: Specifications and Features

The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is said to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ pixel (1,080 x 2,400 pixel) resolution and an Infinity-O notch. The report suggests that it will have a display with a 90Hz refresh rate which is contrary to previous reports that claimed it will have a 120Hz refresh rate display.

The upcoming Galaxy A73 5G is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G mobile processor which is fabbed on an 8nm fabrication process. The handset might offer 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is said to boot Android 12, and like every other Samsung Galaxy handset, it will have OneUI skin on top.

The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G will offer a quad rear camera setup and an LED flash. The leaked information suggests that the primary sensor on it will be a 108MP camera, a first for the A-series. Powering the handset could be a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device will have a USB Type-C charging port and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. It is said to be 7.6mm thick (9.3mm including the camera bump) and might feature an IP67 water-resistant rating.
