Samsung brought the Galaxy book 2 Pro & Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 to Global markets just a few weeks back at the MWC 2022 in Barcelona. Now, the brand has revealed its plans to announce these products in the Indian market as well. Both of these notebooks will be launched in the country exclusively via Amazon on March 17. The company has also started teasing the Galaxy Book Go in the country which is an entry-level notebook based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon compute platform.
According to the Samsung India website and the teaser page for the Galaxy Book 2 Pro series, the laptops will be launched on March 17 at 6 pm in the country. These laptops are already up for pre-order with an advance payment of ₹1,999, which gives customers the opportunity to be among the first to purchase the devices when the sale opens begins. This pre-order window is open until 11:59 pm on March 16.
Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro and Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro comes in 13.3-inch and 15.6 Full-HD+ (1,920×1080 pixels) AMOLED panel options. These will be powered by the latest Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors, along with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB NVMe SSD storage. Both these laptops come with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and crystal clear audio.
Connectivity-wise, both models include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.1 along with a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card reader.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, on the other hand, also comes in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch Full-HD+ (1,920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED touchscreen display options. These also come powered by the latest Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors, along with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB NVMe SSD storage. Since both these models have a touchscreen, there is S Pen support and the stylus comes bundled within the retail package.
Connectivity-wise, both models include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.1. In terms of ports, there is a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card reader.
There is no word on the pricing and sale date for both these laptop models but we should know more by this week.
