Samsung Galaxy Book Go, Galaxy Book2 Series, Book2 Pro Series Announced In India: Price, Specifications

Samsung has forayed into the personal computing space in the country and has launched a total of six notebooks. The brand announced their Galaxy Book2 series that includes the Galaxy Book2, Book2 360, Book2 Pro, Book2 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book2 Business. Along with the Book2 series, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Book Go. The price of these notebooks start from ₹38,990 and go all the way to ₹1,15,990.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 comes with a 15.6-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) LED panel with an Anti-Glare coating. The laptop comes with a choice between two processors—the Intel Core i5-1235U (1.3 GHz up to 4.4 GHz, 12 MB L3 Cache) or the Intel Core i7-1255U (1.7 GHz up to 4.7 GHz, 12 MB L3 Cache). It gets dedicated Intel Iris Xe graphics instead of a full-blown graphics card. The Galaxy Book2 gets Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), Bluetooth v5.1, and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. The laptop gets either 8 or 16GB of LPDDR4 RAM along with a 512GB NVMe SSD.

Ports on the laptop include a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card reader. The Galaxy Book2 also packs dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and crystal clear audio.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 360 comes with a 13.3-inch FHD Super AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of 500nits, 120% Color Volume, and HDR certification. The laptop is also being offered with either the Intel Core i5-1235U processor (1.3 GHz up to 4.4 GHz, 12 MB L3 Cache) or the Intel Core i7-1255U (1.7 GHz up to 4.7 GHz, 12 MB L3 Cache) CPU. It gets dedicated Intel Iris Xe graphics instead of a full-blown graphics card. The Galaxy Book2 gets Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), Bluetooth v5.1, and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. The laptop is also available with either an Intel Core i5-1240P (1.7 GHz up to 4.4 GHz, 12 MB L3 Cache) or an Intel Core i7-1260P (2.1 GHz up to 4.6 GHz, 18 MB L3 Cache) processor.The Galaxy Book 2 Pro also gets Intel Iris Xe graphics instead of a dedicated graphics card. It gets Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), Bluetooth v5.1, and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, but the Galaxy Book 2 Pro only comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of NVMe SSD storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Business, as the name implies, is aimed at business buyers and features a 14-inch Full-HD+ (1,920×1080 pixels) LED panel with an Anti-Glare coating. The laptop comes with multiple processor choices, including the Intel vPro 12th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, and the 12th Gen Intel Core i3 or i5 or i7 processors with Intel UHD Graphics. The laptop can also be configured with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce MX570 GPU. In terms of memory, the base model of the Book2 Business comes with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, which can be bumped up to 64GB and from 256GB NVMe SSD all the way to a 1TB NVMe SSD option.

Other features include a 1080p webcam, 4G LTE connectivity, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB Type-C port, a USB Type-A port, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card reader, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The Samsung Book2 Business packs a 51.1Wh battery with support for 65W fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy Book Go Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Book Go is an entry-level laptop from the brand and comes with a 14-inch Full-HD+ (1,920 1080 pixel) TFT panel. The laptop is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 SoC, which is based on the 8nm architecture and comes with an Adreno 618 GPU. There is only a single version with just 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eUFS storage, with the option to expand the memory with a microSD card.

The Galaxy Book Go gets a 720p webcam, dual-band WiFi with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth v5.1, two USB Type-C ports, and a single USB Type-A 2.0 slot. The laptop is powered by a 42.3Wh battery with up to 18h of battery life and 25W of fast charging support.

The entire Samsung Galaxy Book2 comes in three colour options—Grey, White, and Silver. The Galaxy Book2 15.6-inch starts at ₹65,990, the Galaxy Book2 360 13.3inch model costs ₹99,990, the Galaxy Book2 Pro costs ₹1,06,990, the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 starts at ₹1,15,990, and the Galaxy Book2 Business costs ₹1,04,990, while the entry level Galaxy Book Go starts at ₹38,990.
