Samsung is all set to unveil a variety of new products at the upcoming Galaxy unpacked event, which is scheduled to be held on August 10, 2022. Alongside the next generation foldable smartphones and the Galaxy Watch 5 series, the brand is expected to launch the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro as well. Ahead of the launch, the specifications and renders of the upcoming Samsung earbuds have been revealed online. Let us take a look.

As seen in the image above, the earphones look quite similar to the Galaxy Buds Pro which were launched back in 2021. The render reveals a grey-looking variant of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, which will reportedly be called Zenith Grey.

As for the specifications, the earbuds are said to come with 10mm drivers. They are also expected to feature multiple microphones on each bud for optimal voice pickup and noise cancellation. The report further suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will come with features such as Intelligent Active Noise Cancellation, 360-degree audio, and HD voice pickup for clearer calls.

In terms of connectivity, the upcoming Samsung earbuds might offer Bluetooth 5.3. The report also claims that the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will provide up to eight hours of battery life on a single charge and a total battery life of 29 hours is expected when combined with the charging case. The pair of earbuds will likely support USB Type-C charging as well as wireless charging.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are said to arrive with an IPX7 rating for water resistance. The earbuds are expected to go on sale starting from August 26, 2022. As for the colour variants, you can expect the audio product to be launched in Zenith Grey, Bora Purple, and Zenith White shades.
