Samsung has released the latest Android 12 update to the Samsung Galaxy M01 smartphone, which was launched back in 2020. The latest update is being rolled out via the firmware version M015GXXU4CVF6. If you own a Galaxy M01 smartphone, this will reportedly be the last major update for your device. Samsung Galaxy M01 Android 12 Update: Changelog

The latest update brings OneUI 4.0, along with a June security patch, to the Samsung Galaxy M01 smartphone. It is worth noting that the update doesn’t bring a full-featured OneUI to the device, which is available on more expensive Samsung smartphones. However, the latest Android 12 version introduces visual improvements when over the current Android 11 version.

As for the availability, the update is currently being rolled out to all Indian users. Users in other regions should most likely get it in the coming weeks. Do note that this is the last OS update for the Samsung Galaxy M01, which started with Android 10 out of the box. However, the brand will continue seeding the security patch updates to the device in the future.

Samsung Galaxy M01 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M01 features a 5.7-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution of 1,520×720 pixels. Powering the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The internal storage of the device is further expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card.

Coming to the battery of the device, the Samsung Galaxy M01 is powered by a 4,000mAh battery unit. For photography, the smartphone offers a 13MP main camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone features a 5MP selfie camera.
