iQOO 9T Specifications Leak Ahead Of Launch, Teaser Live On Amazon

The iQOO 9T has been confirmed to launch soon in India. Amazon has begun teasing the arrival of the upcoming iQOO 9 series device in the country, however, iQOO is yet to announce an official launch date. The teaser gives us our first look at the upcoming smartphone. The iQOO 9T is rumoured to feature an E5 AMOLED panel that refreshes at 120Hz. Moreover, it is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Let’s take a closer look at the iQOO 9T specifications, features, and everything we know so far.

iQOO 9T India Launch Confirmed

According to the Amazon landing page, the iQOO 9T will have a dual-toned rear panel, similar to the upcoming iQOO 10 Pro in China, with the top piece in black and the bottom in leather. The smartphone can be spotted in a BMW Legend version, which is quite plausible considering the brand’s previous partnerships with the car manufacturer. The microsite also teases the iQOO 9T’s strong processor, powerful charging, and powerful cameras.

The iQOO 9T specifications have also been revealed, courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar. According to Brar, the upcoming iQOO 9T will be equipped with a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ E5 AMOLED display that refreshes at 120Hz. Under the hood, the handset will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Moving on to the cameras, Brar adds that the iQOO smartphone will sport a triple rear camera module comprising a 50MP primary shooter, a secondary 13MP ultra-wide angled lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. On the front, we could see a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls. As previously reported, the iQOO 9T will use a specialised V1+ chipset that is said to improve performance.

The smartphone will be backed by a 4,700mAh battery that can be recharged at 120W rates. The phone will come pre-installed with Android 12-based OriginOS. A previous rumour stated that the smartphone will be released in July, and it is now probable that the phone may be released on July 28, 2022.
