Samsung has quietly introduced yet another Galaxy smartphone to its lineup, and this time it’s the Galaxy M53 5G. The newly released M series smartphone features a 108MP primary camera sensor, a 5,000mAh battery, and comes preloaded with Android 12-based One UI 4.1. The Galaxy M53 is also the first smartphone from Samsung to include the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC.
Despite the fact that the Galaxy M53 5G supports 25W super-fast charging, as is customary for Samsung, the charging adaptor is not included in the package and must be purchased separately. Let’s take a closer look at the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G, its specifications, features and everything we know so far.
Samsung Galaxy M53 5G Specifications
The newly arrived Galaxy M53 sports a 120Hz 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with FHD+ resolution. The phone measures 77.0mm x 164.7mm x 7.4mm in size and weighs 176g. The Galaxy M53 5G is powered by an octa-core CPU with two cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six cores running at 2GHz. Although Samsung hasn’t specified the name of the chipset, it is expected to be the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC.
For the cameras, Samsung has utilized four sensors on the rear. The primary camera is a 108MP shooter with an f/1.8 lens, paired with an 8MP secondary ultrawide camera (f/2.2 lens), a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it is equipped with a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
