Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 FE 5G variant in India at the beginning of this year. The device features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display, and is equipped with the brand’s in-house Exynos 2100 processor. Now, it appears that Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S21 FE 4G model soon. As per the report by GalaxyClub.nl, the device shall be soon introduced in the market, which could pack an octa-core Qualcomm chipset.

As per the details revealed by GalaxyClub.nl, the Galaxy S21 FE carries the model number SM-G990B, and now a new device is being developed with the model number SM-G990B2. The support page on Samsung’s Netherlands mentions the model number which could be for the Galaxy S21 FE 4G. Apart from this, the SM-G990B2 variant has appeared in the database of the Bluetooth SIG certification. As per the Bluetooth SIG certification, the device carries support for Bluetooth v5.2. As per the GalaxyClub.nl, the Galaxy S21 FE 4G also has appeared on two Scandinavian online websites. Both the listings have revealed the key details of the handset.

As per the retailer listing, the Galaxy S21 FE 4G could sport a 6.4-inch display with a Full HD+ 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. An octa-core Snapdragon 720G processor might power this 4G variant. The device is expected to ship with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. We can expect this upcoming handset to likely run Android 12 OS out of the box with One UI 4.1 on top.

For the optics purpose, the device might get a triple-camera setup. The camera module might comprise a 12MP main sensor, a 12MP secondary lens, and a 8MP camera. The front of the smartphone might include a 32MP selfie snapper. The handset might pack a 4,500mAh battery. Except for the change in the processor, the other specifications of the S21 FE 4G looks identical to the Galaxy S21 FE 5G model.
