Earlier this month, Samsung released the One UI 5.0 beta update for the Galaxy S22 series in Germany. Later, the brand seeded the second One UI 5.0 beta update for the S22 lineup in the UK and India. Now, in a recent development, Samsung has released the One UI 5.0 beta update for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series devices such as the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra in South Korea. However, the One UI 5.0 beta update is yet to be released for the S21 lineup in the Indian market.

If you reside in South Korea, you can register your device by installing the Samsung Members app from the Play Store. To register, you will have to tap on the Galaxy S21 One UI 5.0 beta banner on the homepage. Soon after the registration, the One UI 5.0 beta update will be available on your device.
The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta includes new features such as Color Palette, new stacked widgets, improved privacy and security, Samsung DeX UI improvements, better multitasking gestures, and the OCR feature in the camera and Gallery apps. Furthermore, the update brings other essential features like improved accessibility, a reorganized security dashboard, improved Digital Wellbeing design, RAM Plus customization, a detailed Wi-Fi diagnostic tool, and more.
Reports suggest that the One UI 5.0 beta update could be released by Samsung for the Galaxy S21 series in China, Germany, India, Poland, the UK, and the US in the coming days. Rumours are rife that Samsung will release the public beta of the One UI 5.0 for the Galaxy S22 series in the third week of October. However, as of now, Samsung has not officially revealed the timeline of the global beta release of the One UI 5.0.
