Samsung introduced its 2022 Samsung S22 series of smartphones at an Unpacked event last week. The new series comprises the standard Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra. These smartphones are expected to hit the shelves by February 25, 2022, in most regions. The company has now confirmed that it is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S22 series in India soon.
According to a report, all three models will be launched in India. The company is expected to bring the handsets to India by March 11, 2022 and will be revealing the pricing and availability information soon. The report claims that they have managed to lay hands on its pricing information ahead of the official announcement.
Samsung Galaxy S22 India Rumoured Price
The report reveals the prices of the standard Samsung Galaxy S22 and the top dog, the Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, you will have to wait if you are interested in the Samsung S22 Plus’ pricing. The Samsung Galaxy S22 will start at a price of ₹69,900 in the Indian market, which is almost ₹10,000 more than the US pricing. The top-end Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will start from ₹1,09,900, which is almost ₹20,000 more than the US pricing. The pricing doesn’t come as a surprise as most flagship smartphones from Samsung and Apple come at higher price tags in India when compared with their global prices.
The cheaper Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus are expected to be launched in two variants, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The Samsung Ultra will come with 12GB RAM as standard, while you will get options of 256GB or 512GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus will come in black, white, and green colourways. The flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in Phantom Black and Phantom White colour options in India.
You can pre-reserve your Galaxy S22 series phone via Samsung India’s website. There’s a ₹1,999 refundable deposit for pre-reserving your favourite handset in the series. Do note that the pre-reservation will only be available till February 21, 2022.
