Samsung, the Korean tech giant, unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 tablet a couple of weeks ago. The company also revealed that the mid-range Android tablet will be available in select markets by end of the month. Now, a micro-site for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has gone live on Amazon India. It reveals that the Galaxy Tab A8 will be available in pink, gray, and silver colour variants in the Indian market.

The tablet is powered by an octa-core UniSoC Tiger T618 processor which is fabbed on a 12nm process. The system-on-chip comes with an integrated Mali G52 GPU to take care of graphics-related tasks. It comes in three configurations—3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and boots Android 11.
The Galaxy Tab A8 offers an 8MP rear camera with autofocus. For selfies and video calls, it comes witth a 5MP shooter. The latest Galaxy Tab is powered by a 7,040mAh battery unit which supports up to 15W fast charging. However, users will need to buy the fast charging adapter separately, as the company bundles a 7.5W charging brick in the box.

The Tab A8 is equipped with a USB 2.0 Type-C port, a micro-SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also has a quad stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, Samsung Knox, and Face Recognition support. Connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi 5 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and Galileo. The tablet weighs 508grams and measures 246.8 x 161.9 x 6.9mm. We can expect it to be priced around ₹15,000 in the Indian market.
