Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Edition Renders Surface Ahead Of Launch

Samsung intends to release the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in 2022, instead of releasing the Tab S8 Lite. The tablet will first be available in European countries later this month. The device’s renders, as well as some marketing material, have surfaced ahead of the debut.

According to the leaked marketing materials, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Edition would have a 10.4-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,200 pixels. The new upgraded tab will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC and will be available in both LTE and Wi-Fi alone configurations. The new Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will be offered in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage configuration, with the ability to expand storage through a microSD card.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Edition will have an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It will be powered by a 7,040mAh battery that supports 25W rapid charging. Like the previous Tab S6 Lite model, this new one will include SPen compatibility as part of the retail package. Other features of the tablet include an Office 365 subscription, Android 12 with OneUI 4 out of the box, an AKG-tuned dual speaker arrangement, a luxury metal design, and more.

According to the leaked pricing, the WiFi variant would cost €379 (₹30,900), while the LTE model will cost €439 (₹35,900). Both variants will ship with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There is currently no word on availability in India, but considering the tight competition in the tablet market, we expect Samsung to bring this to the market very soon.
