Samsung has announced a host of software updates for the Galaxy Watch series as well its Galaxy foldable devices. As part of the new update, the Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 will get new watch faces as well as ECG feature. Meanwhile, One UI Watch 4.5 will be released for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Besides, the company has started rolling out the One UI 4.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3. The update will eventually arrive on the Galaxy Z Fold2, Z Flip, and Z Fold as well.

With this update, Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 users will get to use some features that are available in the Galaxy Watch 5 series. The Watch 3 and Watch Active 2 will get two new watch faces—Gradient number and Pro analog. Not only do they come with new designs, but they also get sleep analysis and snore detection features.
Besides, the new update will bring BP analyser and ECG support via the Samsung Health Monitor app. These features will be available in select markets.
Samsung adds that the device will have to be calibrated every month with a regular blood pressure cuff to ensure that the readings are accurate. It also notes that the BP app cannot detect the warning signs of heart attacks or diagnose hypertension. The company warns that the app is in no way meant to be used in place of consultations with qualified healthcare professionals.
