Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Series Model Number Revealed By Samsung Ahead Of Launch

Samsung is preparing for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 smartwatch series. Since the last few days, we have been learning new details of the Galaxy Watch 5 courtesy of several leaks online. Recently, the 3D renders of the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro were revealed by 91Mobiles. The renders showcased the Galaxy Watch 5 design ahead of the official launch. Now, in a recent development, the model numbers of the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Watch 5 Pro have been revealed by Samsung itself.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Series Model Number Revealed

As per the details shared by popular leakster Roland Quandt on Twitter, Samsung posted the early listing of the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Watch 5 Pro on its Belgium, Denmark, and Norway websites. The preliminary listing reveals that the Galaxy Watch 5 40mm will bear model number SM-R905F, while the 44mm variant will have the SM-R915F model number. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45mm will carry the model number as SM-925F. Apart from the model number, the listing doesn’t reveal any key specifications of these upcoming smartwatches.

The newly leaked model number appears to be that of the LTE variant of the Galaxy Watch 5, as the Bluetooth version had carried model number format ending with “0”. As far the launch goes, Samsung is aiming to launch the Galaxy Watch 5 series in mid-August. Rumours also suggest that the upcoming Galaxy Watch 5 will cost more than the Galaxy Watch 4. It is said that the Galaxy Watch 5 will ship with a 10W charger. As for the software, these upcoming smartwatches from Samsung are expected to run One UI Watch 4.5 based on Wear OS 3.5.

As for the colour option, the Galaxy Watch 5 40mm model is expected to mark its debut in Graphite, Silver, and Pink Gold colour options. On the other hand, the 44mm variant might come in Graphite, Silver, and Blue colourways. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45mm variant might be available in the Black and Gray Titanium colour options.
