Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its next-generation foldable smartphone, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. The smartphone is expected to be launched during the brand’s Galaxy Unpacked event, which is tipped to be held on August 10, 2022. Various details including the key specifications, design, and storage options of the device have been popping up online, courtesy of various leaks. In a recent development, tipster Mukul Sharma has spotted the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 on the BIS certification website. Let us take a look at the BIS listing of the smartphone.

The smartphone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. A storage variant of the device was recently leaked online. It is expected to arrive with 512GB of internal storage. However, it is not confirmed whether this variant will launch globally or in select markets only.
As for the rest of the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will most likely feature a 120Hz refresh rate sAMOLED panel. Furthermore, the device is tipped to feature a better display than its predecessor. Based on previous reports, the smartphone is expected to carry a higher capacity battery with a faster 25W charging tech.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will reportedly feature a design similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. However, you may get to see a slimmer and lighter version this time. The hinge design of the device is said to be smaller than that of the existing model. We can also expect to get a larger cover screen, which is speculated to be 2.1 inches in size, up from the 1.9-inch of the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
